Hot Chi is looking for a motivated

General Manager

multi-unit GM role in the restaurant industry

with some of the best work-life balance you’ll find: both locations are

closed on weekends, evenings, and most holidays. You’ll lead from the front—working the line with your crew during the busy lunch rush, then pivoting to handle administrative and operational responsibilities in the afternoons. You’ll report directly to one of the owners, who also serves as District Leader. This is not a rebuild project: you’ll be stepping into a strong team of

8+ employees who have been with us for 2+ years . Success in this role comes down to

accountability, organization, and leading by example. Responsibilities

Lead daily operations across two food hall locations Be on the line during service, ensuring speed, quality, and adherence to brand standards Manage scheduling, inventory, and food costs Monitor and drive performance in labor, COGS, and EBITDA Train, coach, and hold team accountable to standards of service and performance Track customer service metrics (Google, Yelp, 3rd-party delivery platforms) and use them to improve guest experience Complete administrative tasks after lunch rush (reporting, payroll approvals, vendor communications, etc.) Collaborate directly with ownership on strategy, performance goals, and improvements What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a restaurant GM or Assistant GM, ideally in a fast-casual or multi-unit environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Hands-on leadership style—comfortable jumping in on the line when needed Ability to balance operations and administrative work efficiently Track record of accountability, financial discipline, and customer service leadership Training

4-week training program to ensure full readiness before taking full ownership of both locations If you’re ready for a

rare GM opportunity with consistent hours, no weekends, and no late nights —while still leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment—Hot Chi is the place for you. Apply today and join us before November 1st!
