Are you ready to make a splash in your career? Horizon Commercial Pools is on the lookout for a detail-oriented and highly organized Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Specialist to join our team in Arden Hills.

The Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Specialist will be responsible for maintaining inventory counts for inbound and outbound shipments. Receiving inbound shipments, ensuring that the quantities received match the packing list and organizing and putting away inventory in the correct locations. This role is critical to ensuring accurate inventory management and providing top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities: Properly pick, pack, mark, label and process hazardous and non-hazardous materials by using carrier specific software (Speedee, UPS, etc.) to ensure timely shipment of orders and communicate issues as needed. Assists will call customers with order pick up. Process incoming orders including inspecting and receiving POs to ensure inventory integrity. Collaborate with Inventory Control Specialist to ensure the efficient movement of product in and out of the warehouse safely and accurately. Compare packing lists to ensure that the products on each delivery match the packing list. Assisting with inventory management tasks such as cycle counts. Organize and maintain proper shipping and packaging supplies including boxes, tape, strapping and labels. Keep warehouse clean and organized. Other warehouse duties as assigned. Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to follow safe operating procedures. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and accurately. Basic computer knowledge; capable of using inventory systems and RF scanners. Familiarity with barcode scanning systems and warehouse operations. Ability to work independently and cross-functionally. Preferred Skills/Abilities: Experience with UPS Worldship and Speedee shipping programs. Certified forklift and powered pallet-jack operator, or willingness to become certified. RF Smart WMS experience. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 2 + years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse environment. Physical Requirements: Must be able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to frequently push or pull objects weighing up to 50lbs, including weights above this with pallet-jack assistance. Requires the physical ability to use hands, arms, feet and legs for repetitive movements, bending, squatting and reaching.
