The Production Lead will oversee production operations, ensure efficient processes, maintain quality standards, and lead a team of production staff. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Shift

• Usually works three to five days a week, with overtime as required based on production need
• 7:00pm – 7:00am Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily production or warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and production standards
• Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals and maintain high productivity
• Monitor production schedules, workflows, and inventory levels to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
• Collaborate with management to identify and implement process improvements
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure QA and USDA compliance
• Assist in the development of operational reports and performance metrics
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring equipment is in good working condition

Minimum Education

• High School or equivalent preferred but not required

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past year

Experience Preferred

• Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role in a distribution/production/manufacturing environment

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

• Ability to tolerate exposure to wet and moist floors with metal and plastic grating surfaces
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to wear PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection as required
• May work in environments with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 100°F
• May handle products at temperatures between 25°F and 50°F
• May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 dB to 110 dB
• Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide (10 ppm) and chlorine (<20 ppm)
