Summary

Join our team as a Production Associate. We’re looking for dedicated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. This role involves working with raw and/or cooked packaged products. Typical assignments may include line setup, lifting totes, palletizing, picking, and sanitation.

Shift(s)

  • Usually works three to five days a week, with overtime as required based on production need.
  • B - Night Shift: 7:00pm–4:30am, Monday - Friday
  • C - Day Shift: 6:30am–7:00pm, Monday, Tuesday and Sunday

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Works at various stations along the production line processing poultry food products.
  • Operates machinery and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area to uphold food safety standards.
  • Collaborates with team members to achieve production targets.
  • Participates in company and department safety programs.
  • Education: High School or equivalent not required but preferred.

Experience Preferred

  • Experience in a distribution warehouse is preferred.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to tolerate exposure to wet and moist floors, metal and plastic grating surfaces.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to wear PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection as required.
  • May work in environments with varying temperatures between 28 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • May handle products varying in temperatures between 25 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
  • May be exposed to dust, feathers and chemicals used in poultry and food processing facility.
  • Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors (10 ppm) and chlorine (< 20 ppm).
