The facility has a lot of OB coverage; thus, having a gap in GYN coverage, and will need this locum to have strong GYN skills (including caring for endometrial ablation, IUD insertion/removal, menopausal management, failed medical management, urinary Incontinence, etc.) The locum will be on 2nd call most (if not all) days listed above and will sometimes have days both on-call and in clinic. The clinic staffs with OB/GYNs, FM/OBs, and CNMs. CNMs take first call; the OB/GYN is usually only called in when there are complications. 25-bed, critical access hospital. There are about 120 births per year at Lincoln. The OB/GYN department is somewhat small, however, they're a very skilled, tight-knit team, all committed to providing the best care to their community.
