Overview
Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) New Brunswick is seeking a full-time Hospitalist Rounder to join the Hospitalist Division with Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, The State University of New Jersey. The hospitalist will primarily manage admitted patients to the hospitalist medicine service in close collaboration with consultants and subspecialists who practice at RWJUH. The hospitalist will work with a multidisciplinary team to medically manage inpatient care, coordinate transitions of care back to the ambulatory setting, and collaborate with oncologic support staff, including advanced practice providers. The role emphasizes a team-based approach and includes working with case managers, social workers, bed managers, and others to ensure patient-centered transitions of care. The institution offers opportunities for involvement in clinical and research programs, faculty development, quality improvement, and teaching activities in collaboration with Rutgers-RWJ Medical School. Responsibilities
Responsibilities include providing clinical inpatient care on the hospitalist service, coordinating with consultants and subspecialists, assisting with transitions of care back to the ambulatory setting, and collaborating with case management, social work, bed management, and pharmacy teams to support patient- and family-centered planning. The hospitalist will engage in team-based care, participate in teaching initiatives, and contribute to quality improvement and clinical research activities as part of the academic environment. MD/DO or equivalent.
Certifications/Licenses:

Salary:
A minimum of $115,230 as the academic base; eligible for faculty practice. Offer Information:
