$2080 - $2230 Weekend Rotation:
Every 3rd weekend, including holiday rotation if scheduled EMR:
EPIC Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa (Iowa RN jobs) Minimum 2 years of recent NICU nursing experience required BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications required Dependent and Child Abuse certifications (can be obtained during onboarding) Ability to float to general pediatrics and PICU as needed First-time travel nurses welcome Submission of work history/resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), license verification, and copy of certifications required References highly preferred NICU Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to premature and critically ill newborns in the NICU Monitor and manage neonatal patients with conditions such as respiratory distress, hypoglycemia, and other critical issues Administer vasopressors, sedation, and glucose as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR Participate in required holiday and weekend rotations Float to other pediatric units (general pediatrics, PICU) as needed
