Accounting Manager - Non-Profit Organization (South Los Angeles)
Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000

A well-established non-profit organization in South Los Angeles is seeking an Accounting Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated accounting professional to step into leadership, manage a team, and grow into an Associate Director of Accounting.

A well-established non-profit organization in South Los Angeles is seeking an Accounting Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated accounting professional to step into leadership, manage a team, and grow into an Associate Director of Accounting.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee a team of 5 within accounting operations (AP, AR, payroll, GL).
- Manage payroll, including bi-weekly program stipends.
- Handle payment processing and reporting for 130+ active grants.
- Lead month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP/non-profit standards.
- Partner with leadership to streamline processes and improve reporting.
- Outgoing, engaging leader with excellent communication and management skills.
- Hands-on accounting experience in a non-profit environment.
- Strong technical background: NetSuite expertise required, advanced Excel (pivots, look-ups, report building, data clean-up).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Newly created role with clear growth potential (path to Associate Director of Accounting).

- Collaborative finance team led by a strong Director of Finance.
