Our client is searching for an early career Accounting professional looking to get hands-on experience with corporate finance & accounting! This person will be a key member of the Finance and Accounting team, and will handle billing and timekeeping administration, payment processing and collections, account administration and recordkeeping, and general accounting and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities
Billing & Timekeeping Administration Generate and review invoices Ensure accurate and compliant billing Maintain established billing schedule while distributing invoices via designated billing systems Post and reconcile invoices in accounting and membership systems Communicate time-entry deadlines to timekeepers and maintain billing rates Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients Payment Processing & Collections Receive, process, and record client and member payments Monitor accounts receivable reports and maintain accurate account reconciliation documentation Contact clients with overdue balances and assist with resolving payment discrepancies Establish and maintain positive client relationships while ensuring timely payments Account Administration, Reporting, & Recordkeeping Create and maintain client accounts and client matters in billing system Organize and update client billing files Prepare billing and accounts receivable reports Assist with monthly closings and financial statement preparation General Accounting & Account Reconciliation Support the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness Reconcile accounts and handle time/cost transfers Skills
