ITSRA is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with extensive Capital Markets domain experience focusing on issuances, valuation, settlement, accounting, liquidity management, and knowledge of external ratings of securities and financial counterparts. Core responsibilities include: Act as Business Analyst for Capital Markets within Treasury, covering liquidity management, issuances, buybacks, derivatives, valuations, trade life cycle, accounting, debt allocation, and related applications. Build stakeholder consensus and align all parties on the proposed solution. Develop business cases, requirements, use cases, test plans, test strategies, test cases, and operational procedures. Coordinate with fiduciary reviewers such as Enterprise Architects and OIS, providing artifacts and supporting security testing. Participate in procurement of COTS solutions when necessary, including RFP preparation, cost estimates, benefits realization summaries, and IT governance inputs. Prioritize requirements and manage scope effectively. Document business processes and workflows. Collaborate with Project Managers, Tech Leads, Solution Architects, and Developers to determine feasibility and milestones. Leverage rapid prototyping to present as-is and to-be processes and rough designs. Provide overall support for design, testing, and implementation of applications; assist in developing training materials and conducting training. Maintain a chronological trail of requirements and agreements; contribute to change control; document and manage issues and actions. Participate in evaluating new products or initiatives to determine technology support required. Evaluate applications and IT environments; analyze gaps between current and desired states. Propose recommendations based on industry best practices. Coordinate with vendors and oversee deliverables, including reviewing proposed solutions and delivered code. Train business users on applications. Uphold established BA processes and quality standards. In a post-production environment, troubleshoot systems and provide solutions to business and technical teams. Knowledge, Selection Criteria and Qualifications
- The role requires a Business Analyst with strong business analytic ability to optimize efficiency and communicate effectively. Required: excellent knowledge of capital markets, up-to-date SDLC practices, cross-functional perspective to bridge business and IT, and ability to prioritize requirements diplomatically. - The candidate must understand changing corporate objectives in a dynamic market and demonstrate IT governance awareness, with solid project management experience. Deep understanding of WB Loans and IDA products, risk management (liquidity risk), Treasury and Capital Markets (fixed income and derivatives), trade lifecycle (trade capture, settlement, accounting), and related processes. - Knowledge of plain vanilla and structured instruments, market data, reporting and data marts, front and back office processes, external and internal ratings. - Selection criteria include substantial risk management domain experience in a globally distributed enterprise; advanced degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Finance, MBA or related field; 3+ years in Capital Markets; excellent communication; demonstrated BA experience; ability to present concepts to senior audiences and secure sign-off; teamwork and consensus-building; integrity and effectiveness; strong conceptual, analytical, and judgment skills; advanced MS Excel and SQL; strong organizational skills; and ability to close tasks with minimal follow-ups. - Additional qualifications (ideal): CFA candidate or degree in Risk Management; strong organizational skills and business judgment; strategic vision; knowledge of VBA, PL/SQL, Tableau or Power BI; knowledge of capital markets trading systems (Murex or Summit); knowledge and experience in project management.
