Tax Senior (Remote-Trust/Gift) Tax Senior (Remote-Trust/Gift)

Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Senior focusing on Trust and Gift taxation. This remote position will be responsible for managing and preparing tax returns for various trusts and gifts while ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for trusts and gifts (Form 1041, 709, etc.)
  • Provide tax planning and consulting services related to trust and gift taxation
  • Assist clients with the administration of trusts and gifts
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax law changes and their implications for clients
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate submission of tax documents
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding tax strategies and filing requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation, specifically with trust and gift taxation
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations regarding trusts and gifts
  • Experience with tax preparation software and tools
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Nice to have: experience with estate taxation and tax management
