Position

We are currently seeking a full time Administrative Assistant for our Virginia Beach office. The Administrative Assistant will manage front office operations and provide support across various departments. Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting visitors, assisting office staff, ordering supplies, and sorting and distributing mail. Proficiency in Excel and Word is required, along with the ability to handle general office tasks as needed.

Job Details

This is a Full Time position, approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet visitors
• Assist office staff and support multiple departments
• Order supplies and manage front office operations
• Sort and distribute mail
• Utilize Excel and Word to perform required tasks

Requirements

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook
• 2 years of administrative support experience
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be a team player
• Experience working with a construction company is a plus
• 1 year experience with AP/AR, invoice processing and reconciliation preferred
• Basic Excel skills (creating and managing spreadsheets, filtering, and sorting)

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• High school graduate, some college preferred
• 2-3 years of general office support experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Professional and personable demeanor
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid attendance record
