Overview

Senior Regional Director, Property Management position based in Seattle, WA. Hybrid schedule with travel to properties in the portfolio. Salary range: $130,000 - $155,000 per year, DOE, Salaried/Exempt.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides supervision, vision, and direction for Community Managers and their teams.
  • Works closely with Community Managers and site teams on sales-focused training and coaching for leasing teams, emphasizing prospect engagement, follow-up, and closing techniques.
  • Participates in Regional Manager meetings, providing strategic input on rollout of new initiatives, policies & procedures.
  • Oversees client relations to maintain a positive, collaborative, and trusted partnership.
  • Holds Community Managers accountable for top quality leasing with awareness of occupancy and exposure, partnering with Marketing and Accounting teams to provide market, product, financials, and analytical expertise to leadership and Clients.
  • Monitors performance metrics (traffic, conversion ratios, leasing pace, retention) and pivots strategies as needed.
  • Reviews and supports development of site budgets and is responsible for the financial success of the portfolio.
  • Visits properties regularly to maintain leadership presence and verify quality maintenance, grounds, and leasing office standards.
  • Maintains awareness of market/industry conditions and trends via trade publications and professional organizations.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, employment/payroll laws, OSHA, Fair Housing Law, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other applicable laws for property management.
  • Maintains awareness of property incidents, identifies patterns, and mitigates risk.
  • Performs any additional duties as assigned by the Executive team.

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience as Area Manager or Regional Manager in Property Management, with experience in supporting lease-ups
  • 2+ years in a leadership role in multi-family property management supporting lease-ups, or equivalent
  • Proficient in Yardi, On-site, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in overseeing budgets and property financials with ability to analyze complex reports
  • Real Estate Broker License preferred or must obtain within 120 days of employment
  • Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS)
  • Driver’s license and insurance coverage (travel to properties is essential)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel to properties within the portfolio regularly
  • Works from home and/or the Seattle home office; able to attend in-person meetings with clients and the Executive team
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the day
  • Frequent use of computer/phone, typing, writing
  • Occasional bending, stooping, climbing stairs, lifting items as needed
