Data Analyst – Temp-to-Hire | Remote
Pay: $33–$38/hr | Full-time, 40 hours/week
We are seeking a Data Analyst to join a mission-driven healthcare organization that uses data to improve outcomes and drive meaningful community impact. This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to initiatives that shape strategy, improve health outcomes, and support data-informed decision-making.
As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing and maintaining reporting and analytic solutions. You’ll work closely with business and technical teams, leveraging SQL and BI tools (such as Power BI) to transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for leadership and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business priorities and deliver timely, effective analytics.
- Query, link, validate, and analyze data across multiple systems with a focus on accuracy and integrity.
- Calculate metrics such as health outcomes and cost savings, presenting results in a clear, meaningful way.
- Design and develop dashboards, KPI scorecards, and ad-hoc reports.
- Identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with data quality standards and sharing regulations.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for reporting and analytics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in data analysis with large, diverse datasets.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with BI tools (Power BI preferred).
- Strong Excel skills; experience with additional programming languages (SAS, Python, etc.) a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical results to non-technical audiences.
