Heavy Equipment Operator role at Fisher Industries.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals
• Assist with setup and tear down of plants
• Perform general maintenance, repair, and service equipment as required or directed by supervisor
• General housekeeping of equipment and plant daily or as directed by supervisor
• Lift objects weighing 80 lb. on a regular basis
• Use a shovel to move material as necessary
• Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by MSHA and company policy
• Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3+ years\' experience with D8-D9 dozers and 345-352 excavators
• Must have GPS experience, Trimble experience preferred
• Must have experience operating heavy equipment at 30-85% grade on sheer rock conditions
• Must be able to pass a Government Background Check
• Must hold an MSHA 5000-23 certificate
• Able to operate equipment efficiently to maintain project specifications
• Team player
• Mechanical knowledge of equipment and ability to perform routine maintenance
• Basic knowledge of welding and using a cutting torch
• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends if required
