The HR Generalist will help strengthen core HR functions across employee relations, talent management, training and development, recruitment, benefits, compliance, and HR policy implementation. Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee relations matters; coach managers and employees, and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Support full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Administer HR programs and procedures for corporate personnel, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Conduct investigations and resolve complaints related to harassment, discrimination, or workplace conflicts in compliance with applicable laws.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures; maintain and update the employee handbook.
- Facilitate annual performance review processes and train managers on best practices.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support benefits administration, including open enrollment, claims resolution, change reporting, and employee communications.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate reports to inform HR strategy and decision-making.
- Partner with management to identify employee development needs and assist in delivering training programs.
- Participate in HR projects, including performance management initiatives, employee engagement programs, and process improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities without micromanagement.
- Solid understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with HRIS, performance management systems, and benefits administration. Paylocity experience highly preferred.
