At Braman Pest Control, we don’t just protect homes and businesses – we build a strong, dedicated team that makes it all possible. As our HR Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting our employees, ensuring they have the resources, guidance, and leadership development needed to thrive.

This role is an opportunity to take ownership of HR operations while shaping the employee experience in a growing, hands-on environment. You’ll oversee the full scope of HR functions – from recruitment and compliance to employee relations and training – while championing a culture of engagement, retention, and leadership development.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead HR strategy and execution by aligning people practices with business goals.
  • Own the full employee lifecycle including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Develop and coach managers to strengthen leadership skills, foster communication, and build high-performing teams.
  • Enhance employee engagement and retention through recognition programs, feedback initiatives, and career development opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and industry standards, handling reporting, audits, and policies with precision.
  • Manage benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, voluntary plans, and 401(k).
  • Drive a culture of accountability and teamwork by implementing initiatives that connect employees to the company’s mission and values.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership, resolving concerns and fostering a positive, supportive work environment.

What You Bring To The Table

  • HR expertise in a hands-on environment, ideally in a service or field-based industry.
  • Ability to connect with employees at all levels, from technicians in the field to office personnel and senior leadership.
  • A mix of tactical and strategic HR skills, with experience balancing compliance, operations, and culture-building.
  • Strong communication and coaching abilities, with a passion for developing leaders and strengthening teams.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws across Massachusetts and Connecticut.
