Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $23.00/hr

VITALity Office Assistant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serves as administrative support and resource to all staff throughout VITALity ministries including the Call Center as it relates to care coordination and coordinators needs and other ministries as needed.
  • Provides support and backup to the Call Center Supervisor during times of high call volume and telephone coverage as needed and necessary.
  • Provides support and back up to the Office Manager as needed and necessary.
  • Helps collect and compile data for the Call Center and assists in the analysis of the data and outcomes along with the Call Center Supervisor.
  • Assists the Care Coordination team with technology related issues and helps maintain resource directory as requested.
  • Supports VITALity staff to prepare for health fairs, events, etc. with tasks such as making copies, faxing, compiling reports and other administrative duties.
  • Responsible for professional level of customer service and satisfaction among callers.
  • Works collaboratively with all VITALity based ministries including Care Coordination/Coordinators, Parish Nursing, Chaplaincy, Senior Ministry and Ministry for Deaf and Disabled and Stephen Ministry.
  • Develop and maintains a high level of professionalism among the staff.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required or work history that demonstrates related work experience.
  • Computer literacy with strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Knowledge of and previous data-base work experience of at least 2 years preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations promptly and professionally in order to handle issues.

Language Skills

  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and technical) required.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills are essential to this position.
