Overview
Join to apply for the Temporary Custodian role at UC Irvine. This recruitment is for Temporary Custodian and Temporary Senior Custodian positions through UCI's internal temporary staffing service. This position can be based out of the UC Irvine campus or any UCI Health facility throughout Orange County and Southern Los Angeles County.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Sr. Custodial Supervisor or Assistant Custodial Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the routine cleaning of facilities. Incumbents perform unskilled or semiskilled cleaning, housekeeping, or general maintenance. These duties include daily floor care, dusting, bathroom cleaning and sanitation, kitchen cleaning, cleaning of fixtures and furniture, interior trash removal, window cleaning, and additional tasks as necessary to ensure all facilities are maintained at a high level of cleanliness. Work may be performed individually or as part of a team. Responsibilities may involve varying degrees of contact with the public depending on location and hours.
Qualifications
Required: Less than 1 year of custodial, housekeeping, or related cleaning experience. Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English.
Compensation and Schedule
