Overview

Ryder is immediately hiring Permanent Full Time Material Handlers in Lebanon, TN. Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly.

• Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour


• Additional Pay: $2.00 per hour when assigned to third shift


• Overtime Pay: $32.25 per hour


• Schedule: Third Shift Sunday - Thursday 10:30 pm – 6:30 am

Products Being Handled: Pet Food. Equipment: Sit-down forklift, Slip Sheet.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred


• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred


• Valid Forklift Operator's License


• Strong verbal and written communication skills


• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team


• Ability to work within a diverse work environment


• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization


• Highly thorough and dependable


• Punctual with good attendance


• Performs work independently with minimal supervision


• High degree of initiative and accuracy under pressure


• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs


• Ability to stand for long periods


• Flexible schedule with various work shifts


• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting


• Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract


• Accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks


• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)


• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours


• Perform other duties as assigned
