Responsibilities

• Stock and organize all carts, cady, and chemicals; stock all linen carts
• Use the systems and equipment provided by the resort, including Alice, radios, and other communication devices
• Ensure security of assigned keys and provided equipment; sign in and out of all devices
• Report and log maintenance issues/requests in Alice
• Follow lost and found protocol for all lost/found items
• Manage dirty and clean linen; stock clean linen in proper locations and keep inventories
• Maintain loading dock area clean; keep outside walkways and other areas clean as assigned
• Vacuum hallways; remove webs from light fixtures; clean stairs, stair rails, and elevators
• Spot clean carpets; collect stained linen and dispose of trash around the property
• Distribute any clean linen left in the loading dock and stock housekeeping carts
• Complete housekeeping requests in a timely manner
• Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
• Deliver/pick up rollaway beds or cribs to/from guest rooms
• Maintain storage closets stocked with bottled water, toilet paper, tissue
• Fulfill housekeeper requests; be knowledgeable of hotel fire and emergency procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or minimum of six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous hospitality experience preferred
• Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write in basic English
• Must be available to work varied shifts and flexible schedules
• Physical requirements: able to endure various movements; lift up to 75 lbs; push/pull up to 100 lbs; able to handle weighing up to 75-100 lbs depending on task

Salary Rate: $18.00/hr
