Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $17.00 and $26.00. Our selector associates start at $17.90 per hour. This role may also include overtime compensation, retention bonus, incentive compensation based on productivity and quality, shift differential, and freezer premium. Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 5:00 p.m. start time, 8-12 hour shifts, Avg. 45-50 hours per week. Mandatory overtime one Friday every month. US Foods benefits effective Day One.

Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately select customer orders. Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
- Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
- Move products from racks to pallets as directed by order selecting software and equipment.
- Validate that the correct product has been selected and is damage-free.
- Deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders.
- Team up to clear aisles of debris, stack empty pallets from slots in aisles, and return pallet jacks to charging area.
Qualifications
- Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees.
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases during each shift.
What You Bring To The Table
- Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed.
- Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday; weekends and holidays may be required.
- Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or similar roles is preferred.
- Experience selecting large-scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Experience operating motorized pallet jacks or similar equipment is preferred.
