Job Details
Location: Facility in Scarborough, Maine
Employment type: Travel assignment (13 weeks)
Responsibilities
- Record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration)
- Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Provide mobility assistance (repositioning, transfers, ambulation support)
- Assist with feeding and meal assistance as needed
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and observations
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and healthcare regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent CNA experience
- Valid CNA registration in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Other certifications may be required depending on facility requirements

- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions; PC skills
- Physical ability to remain stationary and move equipment (50-100 lbs), push/pull, and bend
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of personnel
- Technical/motor skills for procedural assistance and equipment use
- Mental resilience to manage deadlines, irregular schedules, and high-pressure situations
- Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication
