Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Finance/Accounting organization. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this role will focus on core accounting responsibilities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable support, and assisting with monthly close activities.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting principles under U.S. GAAP, a keen attention to detail, and is eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain exposure to corporate accounting, government contracting requirements, and audit processes, with a clear path for advancement.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and post routine journal entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve variances in a timely manner.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, collections, and reconciliations.
- Help prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Assist with compliance activities, including SOX and government contract accounting requirements.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by the Assistant Controller.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and support system integrations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience.
- Basic understanding of U.S. GAAP; exposure to SOX or government contracting is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; advanced excel skills strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- US citizenship is required due to government contract work.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 56,900.00 - 105,700.00
