Class A or B CDL Driver
to become a part of our dedicated and safety-focused team! As a
CDL Equipment Operator , you will play a crucial role in executing HPC Industrial projects across various service lines while ensuring compliance with safety standards and client requirements. WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Industrial settings such as Refineries, Petro-Chemicals, Utilities, and Pulp and Paper Mills. WORK LOCATION:
Riegelwood, NC Key Responsibilities: Serve as a safety representative for both the company and clients, providing essential information related to operations, safety, equipment usage, and emergency procedures. Operate vacuum and hydroblasting equipment, ensuring adherence to company and customer specifications. Utilize advanced equipment, including Ultra High-Pressure pumps, and perform routine maintenance on the machinery used. Direct a crew of vacuum technicians and effectively manage job site activities. Conduct thorough pre and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver's logs in compliance with DOT regulations. Efficiently load and unload equipment and materials, including vacuum truck dumping at designated sites. Carry out other related duties as assigned to support team operations. Qualifications: High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience. Class A CDL is a minimum requirement; Class B CDL is also acceptable. HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements are preferred. Experience with vacuum trucks is highly desirable. Ability to communicate effectively in English, particularly in safety and emergency contexts. Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be required. Must possess a smartphone for Electronic Logging Device usage. Why Choose Thompson-Industrial?
