Powered by Clean Harbors, we are seeking a Class A or B CDL Driver who is committed to safety and excellence. As a CDL Operator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient execution of industrial jobs across various service lines. You will supervise single-task jobs with a crew and manage turnarounds at client sites, adhering to client specifications and company protocols. WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Industrial setting - Refinery, Petro-Chemical, Utilities, Pulp and Paper Mills, etc. WORK LOCATION:
Sumter, SC Key Responsibilities: Act as a safety representative and enforce safety policies and procedures for both the company and customers. Operate vacuum and hydroblasting equipment safely and efficiently. Manage special equipment operations, including Ultra High-Pressure pumps. Conduct pre and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver's logs in compliance with policies and DOT regulations. Transport equipment and personnel to various locations safely. Provide general maintenance and minor repairs to equipment in the field. Possibly direct a crew of vacuum technicians during operational tasks. What We Offer: Competitive wages. Position Requirements: Valid Class A CDL is a must. Proficient in operating manual transmissions. Experience with Roll Off trailers and dry vans is preferred. Must have a smartphone for Electronic Logging Device usage. Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be necessary. Experience with vacuum trucks and equipment used in both wet and dry vacuums is highly valued. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent experience. HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements are preferred.
