Join Clean Harbors, a leader in environmental, energy, and industrial services, as we seek a skilled Class A CDL HAZMAT Truck Driver and Equipment Operator. This role involves operating a wide range of heavy and light-duty trucks and work equipment, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs, primarily at customer sites. You’ll play an essential role in hazardous waste clean-up and ensure operational excellence both on and off-site. Key aspects of the role include: Up to 20% overnight travel

(hotel and per diem provided) Preferred Hazmat and Tanker endorsements

(no auto restriction required) Set schedule: Monday through Friday

with average start time of 6 am Consistent hours: 40-50+ hours per week

with overtime after 40 hours On-call duties

as required Note:

$27-29 per hour Comprehensive health benefits available after 30 days of full-time employment, including 401K with Company match Opportunity to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Plan Room for growth and professional development throughout your career Company paid training and tuition reimbursement programs Responsibilities include: Maintaining Health and Safety as the top priority, adhering to safe work practices Operating commercial trucks while assisting field laborers in a team environment Ensuring proper loading and unloading of trucks Performing manual labor at customer sites to meet diverse needs Properly placarding vehicles according to Company and DOT regulations Maintaining daily logs, time sheets, and various reports Complying with all local, state, and federal regulations Observing all corporate guidelines and environmental health and safety protocols Responding to emergency situations on a rotating basis as required Carrying out site-remediation and equipment decontamination tasks safely Completing other duties as assigned Qualifications: Valid Class A CDL Willingness to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment Ability to use mobile devices effectively Physical capability to meet job demands Successful completion of background checks, drug tests, and physical as required Meets facial hair standards according to OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard 29 CFR 1910.34 Preferred Qualifications: Previous commercial driving experience Prior Hazmat and Tanker endorsements Experience handling hazardous materials Capability to operate manual transmission vehicles Experience in manual labor roles Clean Harbors is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to accessibility and providing reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities.
