Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery - $2,182 per week in Albany, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 17 Weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years in specialty needed License: Yes Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate or above EFM Must-Have: - Must have 2 years of experience in specialty - Must have travel experience - No first-time travelers Description: Unit has 12 labor beds, 5 antepartum beds, and 2 ORs. There is an OB emergency room with 6 beds. The unit averages 150-200 births per month. Nurses follow AWHONN FHM System for patient care. Charting is done using MEDITECH - 6.1. There is a charge nurse, who generally operates outside the staffing grid. OB techs are provided by OR techs. Weekend requirements are every other weekend. Holidays will be rotated with permanent staff. Scrub colors are provided by the facility. The unit handles high-risk and routine OB cases. There is an antepartum area for patients requiring extended care. Neonatology assistance is available in-house 24/7. Pharmacy services are available 24/7. Shifts begin at 6:45 AM and 6:45 PM. Floor-specific orientation consists of 2 shifts. Additional support for lactation is provided in-house. Cancellation policy is 12 hours every 2 weeks. Floating to post-partum as needed is required.
