About The Position Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour, Evening 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required; must have 1 prior travel assignment. License: Must have valid license prior to start date. Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, C-EFM. Must-Have: Must register for C-EFM during compliance phase or within the first two weeks of the assignment. Description: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position available. This role requires significant experience in labor and delivery. Registered nurses will be responsible for circulating in the unit. Skills in scrubbing and C-EFM are preferred. Demonstrated ability in administering blood products and managing medications such as anticoagulants and antihypertensives is essential. Nurses will assist with sterile procedures and vaginal deliveries. Nurses must perform assessments and provide pain management. Experience in recognizing and treating abnormal fetal heart rate patterns is required. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is key in this role. Immunization against the flu is required for all employees. Candidates should be prepared to provide two supervisor references. Travel experience is mandatory for this position. No scheduled time off during the first two weeks of the assignment is allowed. Preference for a limited amount of scheduled time off throughout the assignment.
