THE ROLE We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Product Management, Finance, Sales Operations, Engineering, and IT. The BSA will play a critical role in bridging business requirements with system capabilities, ensuring that SKU, product, and master data processes are well-documented, clearly communicated, and successfully delivered. This role will support the design, governance, and execution of data management, system integrations, and NPI workflows that enable accurate, scalable, and timely product launches. WHAT YOU'LL DO Requirements Gathering & Analysis Partner with stakeholders across Product, Finance, Sales Ops, and Engineering to gather requirements for SKU transformation and NPI initiatives. Document functional requirements, process flows, and use cases for Product Master and ERP/CRM integration. Translate business needs into structured requirements for technical and operations teams. Analyze existing SKU structures, data flows, and NPI bottlenecks to recommend improvements. Product Master & MDM Support Support the implementation and configuration of Product Master/MDM platforms by documenting data models, hierarchies, and attributes. Define data quality rules, stewardship workflows, and validation criteria in partnership with governance teams. Assist in SKU rationalization efforts by gathering SKU usage metrics, identifying duplicates, and tracking consolidation progress. New Product Introduction (NPI) Enablement Develop and maintain repeatable SKU onboarding checklists and workflows to support new product launches. Ensure new product attributes, pricing, and hierarchy data are captured accurately and consistently in the Product Master. Track NPI readiness milestones across ERP, CRM, and downstream systems; escalate risks or gaps proactively. Provide operational support during product launches, validating data accuracy and completeness before go-live. WORK ARRANGEMENT We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave. WHAT YOU BRING Required 8-10 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, ideally supporting ERP, CRM, or MDM/Product Master projects. Strong skills in requirements gathering, business process mapping, and documentation. Familiarity with SKU management, product lifecycle, and NPI processes. Expertise in SQL, data analysis. Experience working with cross-functional teams (Product, Finance, Sales, Engineering, IT). Understanding of data quality principles, governance workflows, and system integrations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Preferred Experience with MDM/Product Master tools (Informatica, Reltio, etc). Background in SaaS, high-tech, or manufacturing industries with frequent NPI cycles. Knowledge of pricing models, discounting, and quoting workflows.
