We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the interior substation construction project in Washington, D.C. This role involves significant coordination with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities and requires a deep understanding of general contracting and project management within the construction industry. Responsibilities

Coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities. Organize and maintain project contract documents. Prepare construction schedules. Assist in coordination of quality control and safety procedures. Review and process all subcontractor RFIs. Essential Skills

5 years of General Contracting construction experience. Experience in construction management and project coordination. Management of RFIs and contract compliance. Knowledge in construction estimating, means and methods, accounting, and document administration. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field OR relatable experience. Experience working with a General Contractor as a Junior Assistant Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Manager. Experience managing others. Experience in MEP is a plus but not required. Work Environment

The role is based in Washington, D.C., requiring 75% on-site presence at the project site and 25% in the office. The position offers significant internal growth opportunities within a large electrical/utility general contractor. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, District of Columbia. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
