This role requires a California Property & Casualty Insurance License and at least five years of client management experience. Proficiency in PC applications is essential, while background in real estate, construction, or development is considered a plus. New hires will receive ongoing training, continuing education, and access to resources to ensure success in fulfilling the requirements of this position. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently managing a middle-market book of business and working closely with underwriters to obtain client information. The position also involves developing marketing strategies alongside Risk Advisors or Senior Client Managers, preparing submissions for new and renewal accounts, and negotiating both coverage terms and pricing with carriers. Other duties involve performing Client Administrator tasks when needed—such as issuing binders, certificates, evidence of property, auto ID cards, endorsements, invoices, audits, claims, cancellations, and policy checks. In addition, reviewing risk management surveys, identifying exposures, and advising clients on suitable coverage are key responsibilities. Team members are expected to work with the Risk Control Department on complex claims or risk control concerns, conduct contract and lease reviews, and maintain strong client and carrier relationships. Clear communication regarding payment requirements and past-due balances is also part of the role. Ultimately, the position supports both the Risk Advisor and Senior Client Manager while ensuring assigned accounts are well managed and clients receive consistent, high-quality service.
