Liv by Advantia Health is seeking a full-time Sonographer to join their team. To be successful as a sonographer, you should have excellent patient service and communication skills, as well as keen eyesight and attention to detail. Additionally, you should have technical skills, as well as sound judgment and decision-making skills. From OB/GYN to mental wellness, and lactation support, we’re changing the way women experience and expect healthcare. Come and join us! The hours for this role are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Responsibilities

Reviews patient’s medical history and physician’s instructions. Prepares equipment for procedure and selects appropriate equipment settings. Explains procedures to patients and records any relevant medical history. Directs the patient to positions that provide the best view. Applies gel to the skin to aid transmission of sound waves. Operates ultrasound equipment to direct nonionizing, high-frequency sound waves into areas of the patient’s body. The equipment collects reflected echoes and forms an image for interpretation and diagnosis by a physician. Observes the screen during the scan to identify visual cues and select images to show to the physician for diagnostic purposes. Takes measurements, calculates values, and analyzes results in preliminary reports for physicians. Keeps patient records and maintains/adjusts equipment; maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. Complies with safety, infection control, and quality improvement policies/procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications

High school diploma Associate or bachelor’s degree in sonography from an accredited school 5+ years of experience as a medical sonographer in an OB/GYN practice Current ARDMS certification with OB/GYN specialty required Must be certified in Nuchal translucency scans Benefits & Compensation
