Assist with coordinating and overseeing the daily fraud investigations workflow and fraud management functions assigned to the Fraud Management Associates. Responsible for ensuring fraud investigations are accurately and timely performed in accordance with established policies and procedures as well as adherence to governmental regulations. Ensures adequate coverage and general training of Fraud Management Associates. Recommend changes or alternate ways in fraud investigations and processing methods to allow improved operating efficiency and member service. Communicates the status and resolution of the fraud incident to the member and or reporting branch or business unit. Collaborates with cross-functional business units, to monitor transactions, conduct investigations, and implement necessary measures to maintain a strong fraud management program. Ensures that the credit union complies with state and federal regulations and laws as it relates to fraud to include Bank Secrecy Act, Identity Theft, and Elder Financial Abuse. Prepares and files reports with law enforcement and government agencies as directed by law. Qualifications/Experience
2-4 years of related experience in Fraud Investigations or the equivalent. Understanding of financial institution operations and procedures as they relate to the payment systems (check, wire, ACH, online banking and mobile banking) workflows. Knowledge of industry trends related to fraud detections and preventative techniques. Knowledge of fraud compliance and regulations to include Identity Theft Red Flags, Bank Secrecy Act and Elder Financial Abuse. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good verbal and public relations skills. Able to operate calculator, word processor, and related computer applications. Well organized and attentive to details. Good basic math skills. Salary Range
Minimum - $43,316 Maximum - $60,642 Benefits
