Position Summary

This position will be part of a team responsible for supporting program execution within the ICS Business Unit. The Project Engineer will partner with the Program Manager to ensure effective coordination across disciplines, facilitate sprint execution, document team activities, and ensure technical performance meets customer needs. Duties And Responsibilities

Support Program Manager in planning, executing, and monitoring project sprint cycles. Maintain and administer Jira boards, workflows, dashboards, and metrics to track progress against milestones. Develop and maintain engineering schedules and milestones within the Integrated Master Schedule. Track and report on program performance, including task completion, backlog health, and sprint velocity. Coordinate tasking across teams to ensure alignment with program schedules and objectives. Facilitate sprint cycles such as planning, standups, retrospectives, and demos as required. Identify process improvements, recommend best practices for agile adoption, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Serve as a technical point of contact for internal stakeholders and customer representatives. Prepare engineering documentation, reports, and presentations to support program reviews and customer deliverables. Track and maintain program technical documentation to include schedules, priorities, design decisions, and architecture decisions made by others. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of related experience working in an agile environment (or 10 total years in lieu of a degree). Proficiency with Atlassian Jira and Confluence for project tracking, reporting, and documentation. Strong understanding of agile methodologies, sprint management, and backlog prioritization. Experience supporting project managers in scheduling, reporting, and task coordination. Excellent organizational and documentation skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and customers. Ability to produce clear, concise reports and dashboards for management and customer review. Preferred Qualifications

Agile or Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe) Experience supporting Department of Defense or similarly regulated environments. Familiarity with CUI requirements for project documentation and information handling. Exposure to other project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
