Senior Project Engineer role at Boeing in Seal Beach, California. This position is part of the Global Initiatives Support and Proactive Solutions (GIS & PS) team and supports Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Sales & Marketing by delivering proactive customer support and solutions for startups and new customers. The role integrates Customer Support with the BCA Sales & Marketing Organization to align on key sales imperatives and global initiatives and serves as the primary contact for escalating issue resolution. The position is expected to be 100% onsite at the listed location. Position Responsibilities

Provides engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, including internal/external resources and customers. Develops statements of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements. Works with customers and management to obtain approval and manages changes to the SOW, assessing impact and incorporating changes. Negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to deliverables, resources, costs and schedules. Leads project execution to complete the work statement and identifies performance metrics. Plans, identifies and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program. Assigns responsibility for activities to team members and ensures technical correctness and consistency of products and services. Directs proposal development to complete the work statement and compares actual results to the baseline plan to assess performance, efficiencies and lessons learned. Identifies corrective actions to improve project or team performance and provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans. Engages with customers in coordination with the Sales Team to understand business plans, fleet details and operational constraints; develops a network of experts to provide complex technical/operational support; proactively recommends solutions and resolves airline issues efficiently. Coordinates regulatory administration support, develops sustainable processes for engaging with new customers, aligns with contracts and charging policies, and maintains customer meeting logistics and action-item tracking; develops a Global Customer Growth database. Fosters collaboration across Boeing teams and external partners to drive customer success and satisfaction. Basic Qualifications (Required)

Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited program. 9+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Qualifications (Desired)

14+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Relocation
