Arizona State University is seeking a Senior Director, Integrated Brand, Marketing and Communications to lead marketing and communications for ASU Health, including the School of Medicine and Advanced Medical Engineering, the College of Health Solutions and other ASU Health initiatives. This role reports to the Assistant Vice President, Strategic Marketing and Communications for ASU Health and collaborates with deans, academic leaders, subject matter experts, creatives and central university teams to implement strategic marketing and communications plans. The Senior Director will lead the development and execution of short- and long-term strategic marketing and communications plans for ASU Health, focusing on the School of Medicine and Advanced Medical Engineering, the College of Health Solutions and other initiatives. This leadership role shapes the ASU Health narrative, ensures consistent storytelling across units, and positions ASU Health as an innovative, first-of-its-kind solution to improve health outcomes. Responsibilities (Essential Duties)

Provide strategic leadership for the development and execution of short- and long-term marketing, communications, events and alumni engagement strategies that advance ASU Health goals. Direct and guide subject matter expert teams in integrated marketing, communications and recruitment plans, ensuring strategic alignment and measurable outcomes. Establish collaborative relationships with deans, college leadership and initiative leads to reflect unit priorities and reinforce the broader ASU Health narrative. Lead marketing and communications support for launches of new schools or initiatives, including foundational assets, onboarding plans and progress reporting. Develop and execute integrated multi-channel campaigns across digital platforms, social media, publications, video, collateral, events and presentations; ensure content is compelling, brand-aligned and audience-focused. Provide strategic and creative direction while fostering collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement across the team. Utilize market research, data analysis and performance metrics to inform planning and optimize outcomes. Drive alumni engagement to build affinity and advance ASU Health objectives. Partner with development teams to create donor-facing materials and strategies. Oversee project prioritization, resource allocation and budget management to meet goals on time and on budget. Ensure adherence to ASU brand standards and maintain quality and consistency across communications. Oversee vendor and partner relationships to optimize resources and align with project needs. Foster clear bi-directional communication with unit leadership and subject matter experts to maintain alignment and trust across the ASU Health ecosystem. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience including two (2) years of managerial experience; OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or training. Desired Qualifications Proven experience in leading integrated marketing and communications strategy within a large and complex organization. Ability to build collaborative relationships with senior leadership, faculty and cross-functional teams. Strong strategic planning, creative direction and decision-making skills. Experience overseeing performance reporting and optimizing campaigns for measurable outcomes. Excellent communication skills with ability to convey complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences. Experience with student recruitment in higher education. Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of strategic communication and marketing principles and ability to translate strategy into actionable plans. Familiarity with project management tools and workflow optimization. Ability to adapt to new ideas while maintaining strategic alignment. Strong content curation skills and ability to present messages for impact across platforms. Creative and critical thinking, with strong problem-solving capabilities. Strong client relationship skills and ability to self-direct while fostering collaboration. Hands-on familiarity with core marketing tools and channels (e.g., CMS such as Drupal), social media, print and digital media, advertising and email communications. Working Environment

Office setting with typical sitting, keyboarding and computer use; occasional standing, walking and mobility as required. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting up to 25 pounds. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and resolve conflicts as needed. May require tasks across University campuses. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Location
