SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR (GEO): Bowhead seeks a Systems Administrator to support the Pacific Installation Geospatial Engineering Office located in Pearl Harbor, HI. The purpose of this contract is to provide geospatial solutions to attain, maintain, and sustain the PACAF and AFIMSC/Det 2 GEO vision of one geospatial information structure that electronically depicts built and natural infrastructure on each Air Force installation. Responsibilities
Troubleshoot desktop, web, database, and server problems Perform backup and recovery procedures for enterprise systems Administrate and configure web mapping applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS Demonstrate experience with Oracle or similar enterprise RDBMS Qualifications
BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience Five (5+) years of experience with the use and administration of Windows-based servers Three (3+) years of experience working with MS Active Directory and/or LDAP directory services CompTIA’s Security+ certification Preferred Qualifications
M.S. degree in a Scientific or Technical discipline Experience with the DAF GEO Program Knowledge of SDSFIE Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically Security Clearance Requirements
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location. Seniority level
