The Database Developer will provide support and technical expertise for the development of an enterprise-wide system architecture. Responsibilities Provides technical expertise in design of databases. Translate application requirements to fully functional software solutions for the end-user. Organize and drive design discussions and code-reviews. Review code and data for possible security vulnerabilities, and maintain safety standards. Assist in building the database, based on approved design, and industry best practices. Qualifications BA/S in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related field is required. A combination of experience and education may be accepted in lieu of degree. Four years (4+) of relevant technical experience is required. Intermediate-to-advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite—Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Public Trust clearance at this location.
