We're seeking a highly skilled
Senior Accountant
to join our team. This role will take ownership of complex accounting functions, including contract obligations, lease accounting compliance, and general ledger management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable in US GAAP, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
This is an in-office position with 1 work from home and comes with excellent perks and benefits! What You'll Do Manage financial reporting and payment processes for assigned agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual terms. Prepare recurring partner or vendor payment reports, fixed and variable rent calculations, and related journal entries. Provide historical reporting and financial analysis to support management decisions. Serve as a resource for internal and external audit requests. Act as a subject matter expert in
ASC 842 lease accounting , reviewing contracts, maintaining policies, and ensuring new agreements are properly accounted for. Oversee general ledger activity for designated accounts, including reconciliations, accruals, month-end and year-end close entries, and preparation of supporting workpapers. Collaborate with internal teams to monitor compliance with accounting policies and provide guidance on accounting treatment when needed. Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and other ad-hoc projects as required. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of US GAAP with emphasis on general ledger and lease accounting. ASC 842 experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid skills in Microsoft Office. Experience with ERP systems. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage deadlines. CPA or prior public accounting/audit experience is a plus.
