Staff Accountant Position
A well-established investment management firm headquartered in Boston is seeking a
Staff Accountant
to join its collaborative and intellectually curious team. With over $10B in assets under management, the firm is known for its disciplined approach to global fixed income investing and long-standing relationships with institutional and high-net-worth clients. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in accounting or audit within public accounting or financial services, and be comfortable preparing journal entries and conducting month-end reconciliations. This is a fully on-site role, 5 days a week, based in Boston, MA. Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries for domestic and international entities Perform month-end reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts Support FP&A analysis for select line items Assist in audit preparation and GAAP financial statement reporting Reconcile investment holdings and prepare ad hoc reports Qualifications: CPA required Bachelor's degree in accounting 2+ years of experience in general ledger, close processes, or public accounting Familiarity with QuickBooks or Workday preferred Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Management company experience a plus Other Details: Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Accounting/Auditing Industry: Investment Management We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
