Director, Tech Enablement Strategy (Global Business Svcs)

Responsibilities
Apply comprehensive knowledge of technology and systems to shape the future state organization by developing and deploying the organization's technology enablement and intelligent operations strategy; build and execute a strategic roadmap to modernize Global Business Services' (GBS) digital tools and internal genAI use cases ensuring that all aspects of GBS leverage automation and generative AI.
Provide direction throughout deployment of strategic roadmap, including gathering requirements, building deployment roadmaps, overseeing go-lives, and identifying and prioritizing enhancements; accountable for and acting in a leadership capacity for multiple complex and critical processes, programs and projects; regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment, making decisions of high complexity and impact, relying on limited guidance for the most complex decision-making.
Lead internationally located development teams to ensure alignment on solution designs, timelines, and quality expectations; facilitate effective conflict resolution by identifying issues, mediating disputes, and implementing solutions to foster a collaborative and productive work environment; identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to innovation through enhancements to processes, materials, and tools that create high client value, process efficiencies, and/or enhanced quality; lead reviews of internal processes to identify AI-driven solutions and establish prioritization roadmaps for their implementation.
Strategically interact with delivery centers and other innovation teams to learn best practices, leverage existing solutions, and stay abreast of emerging technology innovations; foster an environment of continuous learning and innovation by participating in cross-functional initiatives, accessing ongoing professional development resources, and contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Collaborate with groups throughout KPMG to identify client zero opportunities and support the successful deployment of such opportunities; coordinate with GBS team peers to develop case studies, presentations, and materials that showcase GBS innovations and success stories; support the GBS Leadership Team in preparing for external presentations and events.
Provide active coaching, mentoring and knowledge-sharing with junior staff to advance their career development; and manage and review those team members' work product.
Contribute to planning for short-term needs, e.g., projects and processes; construct annual plan for deployment of those resources; potential people management responsibility for a mid-sized to small team of entry level through intermediate level professionals.
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications
Minimum ten years of recent experience in automation, artificial intelligence, and enterprise technology implementations or more than five years of consulting experience in complex transformation projects, preferably in a Fortune 500 environment; experience in technology and innovation and in the consulting industry (Big 4 preferred); prior experience leading initiatives within technology implementation, automation, and AI in a GBS or similar environment.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; master's degree preferred.
Hands-on, engaged and accountable management and leadership approach, with ability to manage multiple concurrent programs and make concrete decisions that impact the organization and the firm.
Proven ability to work effectively with global teams and resources in captive environments and/or third parties in outsourcing environments, and in consulting services or business process outsourcing.
Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to make informed decisions impacting the GBS organization; expertise in managing organizational change and delivering clear, impactful messaging to stakeholders; ability to innovate and develop technology and process solutions that contribute to strategic growth and efficiency of GBS.
Exceptional verbal/written communication, collaboration, negotiation, and influencing skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; able to direct, motivate and empower others to achieve organizational goals and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
