Phlebotomist Laboratory Full Time Day Shift Summary: To perform specimen collection, specimen processing, and administrative tasks associated with clinical assessment of patients. Serves as liaison to house staff, patient care services, medical students, physicians, etc. to ensure quality patient care. Execute tasks required to maintain accreditation with JCAHO, CAP, and DCRA.

Responsibilities

Perform phlebotomy as part of the patient care team.

Collect and process specimens and support administrative tasks related to clinical assessment.

Coordinate with house staff, patient care services, medical students, and physicians to ensure quality patient care.

Maintain accreditation requirements with JCAHO, CAP, and DCRA.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

6 months phlebotomy experience
