The Consumer Strategy and Insights team is the central hub for understanding the company's members and prospective members. The team develops consumer-centric strategies that drive business growth and innovation by combining qualitative and quantitative research to uncover deep insights into consumer behavior, motivations, and needs. They collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and experience teams to ensure the voice of the consumer informs key business decisions and that WeightWatchers' products and services remain highly relevant and effective.

What You Will Do

The Senior Manager, Consumer Strategy and Insights will lead strategic projects and provide deep insights into consumer behavior, market and product trends, and the competitive landscape. You will develop and execute consumer insights programs that address key business objectives and act as a trusted partner to leaders across the organization, delivering data‑driven recommendations that drive impactful change.

Key Responsibilities

Consumer research: Conduct surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one interviews to understand the competitive landscape and identify emerging trends.

Data analysis and synthesis: Leverage data from app usage, member feedback, and sales data to create a holistic view of the member journey and experience.

Strategic planning: Translate insights into actionable recommendations and long-term strategic plans, building concise business cases that place the customer at the center of decision-making.

Insights and analysis: Design and execute qualitative and quantitative studies to uncover deep consumer insights; conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and inform strategy.

Collaboration and influence: Work with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and ensure the voice of the consumer is represented.

Communication: Create compelling presentations and reports to communicate insights to diverse audiences.

Who You Are

7-10 years of experience in consumer insights, strategy consulting, market research, or related analytical roles; preferably in consumer-facing industries (e.g., CPG, tech, wellness).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize large, complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Experience designing and executing qualitative and quantitative methodologies (segmentation, MaxDiff, conjoint, brand tracking, NPS).

Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscapes.

Proven track record translating data into clear business strategies with measurable impact.

Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Passion for health and wellness is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Sociology, or related field; Master’s preferred.

Compensation and Benefits Base salary may vary depending on skills, experience, and location. This role is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and annual bonus program. US Pay Range: $135,000 - $145,000 USD.
