Enterprise Architect

We're seeking a hands-on Enterprise Architect to lead a large-scale application and infrastructure migration initiative. This role is pivotal in aligning technical execution with long-term financial and operational goals. You'll work closely with senior leaders across technology and business units to shape architecture frameworks and roadmaps. Key Responsibilities: Conduct application discovery and map dependencies across legacy infrastructure Develop migration plans and multi-year roadmaps for complex systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify retained tools and personnel Create business-friendly architecture diagrams and migration documentation Partner with network engineering to resolve backbone system constraints Align technical strategies with financial and product objectives Technical Environment: Languages & Frameworks: .NET (primary), Java, Python (emerging) Cloud Platforms: Azure (primary), AWS (expanding footprint) Infrastructure & Tools: Active Directory, Kafka, API Gateways, Firewalls, Storage Systems Diagramming Tools: Lucidchart, Visio, or similar Ideal Candidate Profile: Background in roles such as Infrastructure Architect, Storage Architect, or Networking Architect Proven experience in data center migrations, network tracing, and dependency mapping Strong grasp of cloud platforms, networking layers, and enterprise application architecture Ability to work in ambiguous environments and define loosely scoped applications Skilled communicator who can distill complex technical concepts for business stakeholders Soft Skills: Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration Self-driven and comfortable diving deep into technical environments Certifications in Azure or AWS are a plus, but not required Typical Day: Morning stand-ups with architecture, product, and technical leads to align on daily goals Deep dives into infrastructure maps and application dependencies Collaborative sessions with business partners to translate technical diagrams into actionable insights Key Skills: Data Center Migration Application Discovery Networking Architecture Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS) Python, .NET, Java Kafka, API Management Tools Firewall Technologies Architecture Diagramming Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr.
