You will perform testing, calibration, diagnostics repair, and certification of Electronic Measurement Equipment, Electro-Mechanical equipment, and Mechanical Test Systems. You will apply a comprehensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic principles. You will operate electronic principles related to equipment which is integrated with other device and complicated by a variety of multi-component assemblies and devices with intricate functional relationship. You will utilize electronic circuits to measure electronic or electrical quantities to determine the performance characteristics and accuracy of other instruments and equipment. You will judge the impact of repairs on related integrated devices and perform further adjustments and alignments. You will create and execute a complete operation testing program for a system or product for a weapons system or combat system. You will perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications

Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. You will frequently lift, carry, or otherwise handle items weighing up to 50 pounds (23 kilograms) independently and occasionally in excess of 50 pounds with the help of weight handling equipment or assistance from other workers. You may be exposed to the possibility of electric shock, burns from electrical or radio frequency energy or hot solder, and cuts and bruises.
