Overview
We’re looking for a dynamic marketing leader to own and elevate brand presence, content strategy, thought leadership, and go to market (GTM) planning. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, can build from the ground up, and is comfortable partnering with senior leadership to define strategic growth priorities— while rolling up their sleeves to lead day-to-day execution across branding, content, and digital engagement . The location of this position can be at any of our four Zehnder North America entities: Haverhill, MA; Hampton, NH; Buffalo, NY; or London Ontario, Canada.
Responsibilities
Business Development, Strategy & GTM Planning
Collaborate closely with business leaders to co-develop and continuously refine a comprehensive marketing and go-to-market plan aligned with commercial goals.
Build detailed buyer personas, define customer journeys, and identify the right marketing mix for each stage of the funnel.
Translate strategic priorities into actionable marketing programs that drive awareness, engagement, and revenue.
Brand & Thought Leadership
Own and execute the brand identity and messaging across all channels, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and visual standards.
Actively drive thought leadership initiatives through high-quality content, including blogs, white papers, executive POVs, and case studies.
Cultivate relationships with media, analysts, and industry influencers; manage press releases and PR efforts.
Content Management & Digital
Lead the development and execution of an integrated content strategy and editorial calendar.
Hands-on management of digital platforms (website, email, and especially social media), including writing, editing, and posting content.
Grow and manage brand and executive social presence, ensuring relevant, high-impact storytelling and consistent audience engagement.
Implement SEO and performance strategies to increase visibility and lead conversion.
Campaigns & Demand Generation
Plan, launch, and optimize multi-channel campaigns (digital, email, social, events) to generate pipeline and brand momentum.
Partner with sales to deliver enabling materials – pitch decks, product sheets, videos, and more.
Lead trade show and event strategy to amplify brand presence and maximize lead capture and follow-up.
Measurement & Budget Oversight
Define KPIs, analyze performance metrics, and report actionable insights to inform decisions and optimize spend.
Manage marketing budgets, oversee vendor relationships, and own the marketing technology stack (CRM, automation, analytics).
Qualifications
Proven success in launching integrated marketing programs and leading GTM initiatives in collaboration with commercial leaders.
Strong content development and brand storytelling skills, with a portfolio spanning digital, social, and thought leadership.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategic action.
Comfortable both leading and doing –
you can build the strategy and execute the plan .
Highly collaborative and influential, with excellent communication skills and experience working across matrixed organizations.
HVAC or similar market experience; building business through multiple channels is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience.
Min 10 yrs of experience building and executing branding and marketing strategies.
