Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages. 1 year of experience with one or more of the following: Gen AI, Natural Language Processing or specialization in another ML field. 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging). Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field. 2 years of experience with data structures/algorithms. 2 years of experience with product/solution development with a focus on product capabilities, features, benefits, users, and support needs. Experience in a customer-facing role, communicating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical and executive audiences. About the Job
Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Our products need to handle information at massive scale, and extend well beyond web search. As an AI/ML Software Engineer, you will work on developing reusable solutions by integrating one or more GCP products and technologies to solve a recurring business problem in a differentiated, repeatable manner that accelerates time-to-value and reduces risk for customers. Responsibilities
Architect innovative, long-term solutions by strategically analyzing customer needs and focusing on future possibilities; oversee cross-functional teams in the development of deployable code, machine learning models, prescriptive architecture, and implementation guides. Define and own solution requirements, ensuring alignment with the go-to-market strategy; co-lead the design, roadmap, and overall goal for customer-centric solutions. Cultivate trusted technical and business partnerships with customers and partners to identify and resolve recurring mission use cases using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. Lead collaboration with internal specialists, partners, GTM teams, product and engineering teams to transform best practices into thought leadership, methodologies, and published assets.
