A DMV-based Private Credit firm with over $1B in committed capital is seeking a
Senior Associate
to join its investment team. The firm focuses on middle-market companies across a variety of industries including business services, consumer, industrials, and manufacturing. This is a high-impact opportunity to join a lean, collaborative team and take on a leadership role in deal execution and portfolio management. Key Responsibilities:
Lead market and industry research to support investment theses Drive financial modeling, valuation, and return analyses for prospective investments Take ownership of due diligence processes, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders Play a key role in investment committee preparation and presentation Oversee portfolio company performance, including financial monitoring and strategic initiatives Mentor junior team members and contribute to firm-wide process improvements Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in Investment Banking (M&A), Private Credit, or Private Equity, ideally with exposure to middle-market transactions Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree a plus Proven ability to lead deal processes and manage multiple workstreams Strong financial modeling and analytical skills (modeling test required) Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills Prior experience or interest in sectors such as business services, industrials, manufacturing, and/or consumer Base pay range
$230,000.00/yr - $260,000.00/yr Seniority level
