We’re looking for a Revenue Tax Director to join our Collections Division. Minimum Qualifications:

One year of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been at the supervisory level or above: Eight years of experience in accounting, financial auditing, tax administration, tax policy or law, management analysis, or administrative services in a financial setting; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus five years of experience in accounting, financial auditing, tax administration, tax policy or law, management analysis, or administrative services in a financial setting; OR A bachelor's degree plus five years of experience in accounting, financial auditing, tax administration, tax policy or law, management analysis, or administrative services in a financial setting; OR An advanced degree or Juris Doctorate plus four years of experience in accounting, financial auditing, tax administration, tax policy or law, management analysis, or administrative services in a financial setting; OR Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or a current Louisiana license to practice law plus three years of experience in accounting, financial auditing, tax administration, tax policy or law, management analysis, or administrative services in a financial setting. Experience Substitution: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Duties:

Plan, organize, coordinate, and direct the activities of the ITE Division: hiring personnel, providing or ensuring the provision of appropriate staff training; establishing realistic work procedures and timetables; setting standards of performance expectations and acceptable performance; evaluating, coaching and counseling personnel. Serve as the process owner for the collection functions of LDR. Provide continuous review of the processes of the collection processes; analyze and recommend changes to enhance the efficiencies; address the necessity of processes and the need for creating new processes required to be implemented by law. Oversee the maintenance of all collection contracts that directly support the entire Agency's collection program. Work closely with LDR Directors, the Louisiana Department of Justice, outside collection firms and the United States Department of Treasury to validate individual income and business tax debts for collection. Assists in the drafting of legislation concerning the collection of taxes and prepares fiscal notes on the effect of proposed amendments. Position-Specific Details:

Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
